This publication constitutes the refereed lawsuits of the seventeenth overseas convention on complex ideas for clever imaginative and prescient platforms, ACIVS 2016, held in Lecce, Italy, in October 2016.
The sixty four revised complete papers provided during this quantity have been conscientiously chosen from 137 submissions. They take care of classical low-level photograph processing ideas; picture and video compression; 3D; safety and forensics; and assessment methodologies.

Cic2014 [5] approach has ranked third due to the absence of local neighborhood information in the mirror symmetry histogram for candidate selection. Figures 4(a-f) gives some detection examples4 to present the superior performance of the proposed algorithm over others. In Fig. 4(a,d), our method correctly detects the symmetry axis of the bird with an extra line fitting on axis endpoints. However, [11] finds very few SIFT features generating a tiny non-meaningful detection, and [5,14] output misalignment axes representing different components within an image.

3 DCT Based Human Activity Recognition Method Our proposed method is a simple discrete cosine transform based technique. DCT is one of the most used transforms in computer vision fields, because it shows interesting proprieties, for example it allows the concentration of the signal information (energy) in few coefficients, we tried to use this propriety to describe human activities from silhouettes.

In recent years, there has been renewed interest in bilateral symmetry detection in images. It consists in detecting the main bilateral symmetry axis inside artificial or natural images. State-of-the-art methods combine feature point detection, pairwise comparison and voting in Hough-like space.
